Join Friends of the Suncook River on a kayak/canoe ride down the Suncook River in Barnstead on September 27th at 10:00 a.m. This is a gentle part of the river from Route 126 to the Parade Dam. To register or for further questions, please contact FOSR at suncook@worldpath.net.
 
Other upcoming events include:
We have scheduled a hike to Mount Klem and Mount Mack. These mountains in the Belknap Range mark the furthermost edge of our watershed and offer spectacular views of both Crystal Lake in Gilmanton and Lake Winnipesaukee in Alton. This is an easy to moderate hike that will start about 10:00 a.m. and last about three hours. It is scheduled for October 11th with a rain date of October 12th. Once again, we ask that folks register with us ahead of time
